1st Contact Tackles The Law

1st Contact, the global finance and immigration group with a growing reputation for excellent customer service, is once again expanding its range of services. This time, they’re adding legal services into the fold with the imminent launch of 1st Contact Law, a fully fledged UK-regulated law firm.

Reg Bamford, 1st Contact CEO, says the decision was based on wanting to provide 1st Contact clients with a holistic offering, including legal services which will further simplify their lives.

“Our own research indicates that our clients trust our brand and this is a natural extension of that finding. We have partnered with a legal firm with an enormous amount of experience and a reputation similar to our own.”

Hi, I am a South African (helicopter mechanic in the military here) …

    I have two questions …

    1. my son’s mother is a British citizen (thru her father she got an ancestral visa – he was born in Ceylon/shr Lanka about 65-70 years ago)
Is my son (aged 16) born in south africa, also entitled to a british ancestral visa/passport???

    2. My son’s mother resides permanently in London area and for his sake I am considering moving to the UK so he can be closer to her, but have no idea (it’s all so confusing these new laws etc ) as to what visa I need to apply for ?

I am a military helicopter mechanic currently specialising in British made AUGUSTA WESTLAND (from Yeovil somerset) SUPER LYNX 300 helicopters … I have 20 years of aviation experience and there are sooooooooooooooooooooo many jobs available to someone like me (seems to be a huge shortage in the market over there for my trade) but they all have the same requirement … I need to have a valid work visa or an EU/UK passport … What can I do about this???

  2. Hi Stephen,

    Thank you for your enquiry.

1st Contact is a partner of the online immigration search tool, WhatPassport.com. I can recommend that you log on to this site, enter as many of the details as you can, and the results of what eligibility you have will be available at the end of the assessment. A consultant will then contact you to discuss your options.

    The site is http://www.whatpassport.com/

We look forward to assisting you further.
